If you didn&#039;t specifically set a 192.168.x.x (or 10.x.x.x) address, you must do that to connect via crossover.  If you see 169.254.x.x as a given IP address, the machine showing that is still set to Dynamic, and you&#039;ll have to change it. 196.254.x.x is not a routable IP address, and is a (not explained) indication that you have not valid IP.  One of those two *should* fix your issues...@Mihir: You should be able to boot up the EvolutionX disc again and make sure you have a valid xboxdash.xbe.
