With the impending Core 2 Duo update to the MacBook Pro (and possibly MacBook) line, I’ll be selling a computer or two to make room for a new laptop. The first one to go is my Mac Mini. It’s specs are as follows:
- 1.42 GHz PowerPC processor
- Upgraded to 1 GB RAM (Crucial memory)
- Upgraded to 8X DVD±R DL (Pioneer DVR-K06, officially Apple supported as of Mac OS X 10.4.6)
- 40 GB HD
- Mac OS X 10.4.8
The Mac Mini is in good cosmetic condition, with no scratches or dents. If you’d like any upgrades done, they can be added prior to shipping.

10/2/06 Update
Why sell now? MacBook Pros were released nearly 8 months ago, and last revised 5 months ago. If Apple’s sticking to their general 6-month schedule, then new models should be ready in the near future. This is also not counting the fact that Dell and other PC manufacturers are already shipping Core 2 Duo machines…
