While working on a print project, I needed a large version of the iTunes Music Store icon from iTunes’ source list. Since the one that exists is only about 16×16 pixels, I had to create a new one from scratch. Here is the result of my effort, in Photoshop form for you to enjoy. Sure, here are some PNG images (with transparency) shamelessly edited out of Jaron Brass‘ awesome Tiger desktops. Included in this zip archive (1.5 MB) are ~512px images of Dashboard, .Mac, FileVault, iSync (.Mac Sync), Safari, Spotlight, Core Audio/Image/Video, and the Applications icon. Here’s a quick (and ugly) contact sheet of all the images so you can check them out before download. The actual PNG images are of excellent quality – don’t let the JPEG compression of the preview fool you.
