When you took it apart, what was wrong internally?  My AppleCare Repair paperwork said that they "reconnected cable/connector," which leads me to believe something just came unhooked inside...</description>

		<description>How old is your MacBook Pro? My first generation 15" MBP (April, '06) did the exact same thing last week. I ended up taking it apart and fixing the latch myself because it was finals week and I couldn't send it in to Apple.</description>
