And yes, it could still stand a $100 price cut across the configuration lineup!  That would make it almost irresistible.

@Jaron: You could probably eBay it for a decent price, still, and pick up a new Gig E one.</description>

As John pointed out, the Mac mini has had gigabit Ethernet since it received the Intel makeover last year. I use 3 as home file/media servers, and couldn't without gigabit.

I am disappointed/annoyed that the AirPort Extreme was revved to include gigabit Ethernet. Having just bought one, and having a network infrastructure at home that is entirely gigabit (plus N-capable laptops), that really bugs me. I need to drop another $179 for a gigE capable one.</description>
