Quick Safari Tip
Here’s a Safari tip I just learned! To save an image to any location, control-click (right-click) on the desired image, and take a look at the contextual menu that pops up. “Save Image to the Desktop” is apparently the only option for saving. However, if you hold down Option, that menu item changes to “Save Image As…”, which lets you choose a specific location to save the file.

That is, in fact, something I’ve desired for a long time.
Thank you!!

Of course I use Quicksilver for this: use it to find/browse to a folder, then just drag the image from Safari onto the folder icon. If QS obscures the image either move the Safari window or first start the drag, then open QS (my trackball has drag lock). Works with any browser.
