I have a fairly new 80 gig classic and it froze after I ran with it for an hour. It was stuck on pause. It wouldn't respond to anything the button the computer nothing. I held my ear to it, I didn't hear clicking just a buzzing. I figured what the heck, I banged the back on my knee three times held the menu and select buttons after and it reset. I gave it a whack on the bottom right corner a couple of times on to the arm of my chair and it worked!!!!
