Hi, I have a T30. I've never installed a new network card but still I get the error 1802 while booting. It was caused when i loaded setep default in CMOS. I tried to use the (.iso) and floppy image but cant even make it to the boot screen. Any ideas? Its not even my laptop so if anyone can help I would really appreciate:)

Any idea if this solution works for Lenovo Ideapads, as well? They also have a PCI-E whitelist, unfortunately. :( Specifically, I'm planning on trying to use an "IBM Wireless LAN Adapter ThinkPad 11a/b/g Mfr P/N 39T5578" in an Ideapad Y510. Should it maybe just work without the fix anyways, since it's already Lenovo branded??

Thanks

Hi

Wonderfuld, worked like a charm on a R40e(*) and a T40.

*) Turned out that the R40e did not have the antenna cable installed, but I was able to fix that as well :-)
