		<description>I'm not sure how to go about making a generic version for non-WordPress sites, as each blogging system has it's own way of accessing and structuring the databases involved.  Some don't use MySQL, as well, causing further complications.  I think the best option may be to build plugins for specific blogging systems, as there aren't too many out there...

I'm still working on the required caching, as I don't want the search to take forever while waiting for several sites to respond.  Also, I don't want to hit other sites for every third letter someone types on my site -- it's much better to keep everything (as much as possible) in one place.</description>
